- Varchar2 size increased to 32767 bytes
- Adaptive execution plan- When threshold exceeds, Oracle creates on-the-fly plan
- Statistics sampling level increased to 11
- RAC node fails, still we can do Insert/Update/Delete
- Data optimization or Heat maps-When data in the Blocks fill, Oracle do automatic compression to increase space
- Pluggable database and Clone database
