6 New Features of Oracle 12C

Here are top six new features added in Oracle 12C.

Oracle 12C new features

  1. Varchar2 size increased to 32767 bytes
  2. Adaptive execution plan- When threshold exceeds, Oracle creates on-the-fly plan
  3. Statistics sampling level increased to 11
  4. RAC node fails, still we can do Insert/Update/Delete
  5. Data optimization or Heat maps-When data in the Blocks fill, Oracle do automatic compression to increase space
  6. Pluggable database and Clone database
