The Fujitsu NetCOBOL® for .NET COBOL compiler enables access to the latest web technologies. COBOL applications can easily integrate with Internet XML Web Services and ASP.NET applications. The NetCOBOL for .NET compiler produces Microsoft’s® Intermediate Language (MSIL) that executes under the Common Language Runtime (CLR). This language-neutral, platform-independent environment allows the use of modern languages like C# and VB.NET on any .NET-compatible hardware and in the Windows®Azure™ cloud.
NetCOBOL for Windows
Fujitsu NetCOBOL® for Windows® is a COBOL compiler and development environment that lets you create standalone COBOL applications and/or COBOL components for use with Windows®. The NetCOBOL Project Manager provides an editor, compiler (NetCOBOL), interactive debugger, execution environment and other supporting tools for easy use. NetCOBOL for Windows®runs on Windows® 8, Windows® 7, Vista, XP, Server 2008 R2, Server 2008 and Server 2003 R2. Separate products are available to support the generation of 32-bit and 64-bit code.

Fujitsu NetCOBOL® for Linux x64 brings the reliability of NetCOBOL for Windows® to the Linux environment. It can be used to create 64-bit server applications or applications that need the power of COBOL’s business logic. Enabling COBOL applications to interoperate with modern programming languages enables the creation of a flexible, future-proof enterprise system.

Fujitsu NetCOBOL® for Solaris is a complete COBOL development suite – compiler, runtime libraries and debug tool. The highly optimized code produced by NetCOBOL provides the basis for fast, mission-critical business systems on SPARC (Solaris) Architecture workstations.
